Chances Of HIV Having Unprotected Oral Sex And Elisa HIV Is Non Reactive?

Hi doctor, I'm from Malaysia. I have sex with a prostitute on October 31st 2013. Had protected vaginal sex without ejaculation and unprotected oral sex with ejaculation within 10mins with her. I am wondering could I be at risk? I had hiv Elisa test after 33days and the result came out negative. Is it conclusive? Do I need to re-test? I'm very scarred of getting hiv. Please advice

Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
Oral sex carries a low risk for HIV compared to other type of sexual activities like anal and vaginal sex.
Regarding the HIV ELISA done 33 days after high risk activity can not rule out the possibility of window period, if there is an infection. A test done after 12 weeks will be more conclusive. Better to have another test and rule out HIV after 12 weeks after the incident.
