Cervical Cryocautery. Using Modus Tab. No Periods. Pregnancy Test Negative. Chances Of Pregnancy?
Heloo Doctor, I have undergone cervical cryocautery and i was adviced to use modus 10 mg tablets for 3 months continuously for not getting periods. And after completion when i met my doctor she told me to stop modus so that i will get my periods after one week. But i didnt get my periods even after 21 days. My pregnancy test is negative. So i am in a confusion. Is there any chance of pregnancy or not and what does it indicate?
Hi and thanks for the query, It is true that the chances are quite slim, but not non existent. However, all women of reproductive age, who experience a missed period, with a notion of unprotected sexual intercourse need to be properly screened for a possibility of a pregnancy. I suggest you carry out a good blood B HCG testing. Your doctor would help you in the process. An abdominal scan could also be very easy to get done. Kind regards. Dr Bain
