Celiac Disease. Is Malarone Gluten-free? Curing?

Hi. I've been told that Malarone is gluten-free (I have Celiac Disease and was diagnosed just two weeks ago after 9 weeks of being very sick and losing about 15% of my weight). However, I also read that "gluten is used in the manufacturing process" and also that Malarone may provide subtherapeutic levels for people with a GI disorder (is Celiac a GI disorder)? So, I would like to know is Malarone produced in a facility with no gluten products and whether it would be sufficiently effective given my recent diagnosis (and a gut that isn't yet healed). Thank you!

Hello. The only effective treatment for celiac disease is a gluten free diet. The drug you say is used by travelers to prevent malaria. If you ever need to take medication to prevent malaria, should avoid this drug because gluten is used in manufacturing process.Your doctor will inform you about alternative drugs to prevent malaria.
I wish you good health.
