Cause For Very Dry Throat During Pregnancy?

Hi, I am currently 39 weeks and 3 days pregnant. For the past two weeks, I've had a severe dry throat. It's extremely hard to swallow and unbearable at night. I've also had a bit of congestion this past week too. Please help, I've tried everything from increasing the amount of fluids I drink, taken medicine, and even tried some vapor rub thanks

Hi
Thanks for writing to healthcare magic.
It could be because of the rapid increase in fetal size in the last few weeks of pregnancy, where blood flow increases tremendously to the fetus.
Keep yurself hydrated, try avoiding fatty foods and stick to small frequent meals
WIshing you great health
