Cause And Cure For Gonorrhea

Im 16 and at the begining of my pregnancy with my daughter, I had a papsmear done. It came back abnormal but was told not to worry. When I gave birth, I received papers on my records. It said I was possitive for Gonorrhea. So I called my OB GYN to ask if they had seen it but when I had been tested earlier, it was negative. And my boyfriend doesnt have an STD. Is it a mistake?

hello,
welcome to HCM,
Thanks a lot for the query
there are many ways in which STDs can spread to a person.
chances in your case may be that there might be use of infected instruments for delivery.
there can be blood transfusion done with infected blood.
other possibility may be that the report may be wrong.
anyways do get a repeated test done.

hope you get well soon
