Cataract Surgery, 5 Operations, Infection, Displaced Retina, Oil And Gas To Prevent This, Unable To See After Removal

My Dad went through cataract surgery last year. Since that time, his vision was very poor. After that he went through 5 operations. Doctor said, eye was infected and retina is getting displaced again and again. Doctor put some Oil and Gas also to prevent retina getting displaced. Till oil and gas were removed, he was able to see 10%, but after that, he can t see. Please advise.
