Carmex works really well on perioral dermatitis. I had a very stubborn case 4 days, - dry , rough flaky skin, red bumps, blistered acne on chin and cheeks. Looked really bad. Painful and everything stung. Everything. Wet cloth only relief. Carmex had many of Edgar Cayce's ingredients for a homeopathy remedy, so I tried it . Smeared alot on everyhing, No sting. 2 hours later the rash, bumps and acne were gone. Unreal. Somebody study this. If you are suffering, try it.

I have been diagnosed with perioral dermatitis. Have gone to several dermatologists. It s been 3 years now. It s ugly, itchy, red. Have used many creams, lotions, pills. Nothing has helped. I even went to a allergist who told me I was allergic to MC1 and MI. I have eliminated them from my regimen, however, it s just as bad as before. The creams work for a while, then it comes back. It s been 3 years now. (Yes, THREE YEARS) . Is there ANYTHING I can use to clear this up?

I have been having perioral dermatitis for about 15 yrs now. Though it hasn t been constant, when it does flare up it is VERY VERY painful. My symptoms are extremely dry skin around my mouth, lips become split in the corners, severely swollen and severely inflamed, bumpy rash at top of mouth and left and right corners that extend to my chin. Nothing works to alleviate these symptoms leaving me skeptical of trying anything else. No topical steroids or injections have worked and antibiotics just give me yeast infections.... I m at a loss please help me!!!!

I recently discovered I have perioral dermatitis. I changed all my skin care products and shampoo to all natural. I started on doxycycline 100mg PO BID for 30 days but I noticed about 7 days in my rash around my mouth was gone but now my forehead/neck/ back of ears were extremely itchy and breaking out with bumps with little whiteheads. I discontinued the doxy 2 days ago but am still itchy with these bumps all over. Benadryl works but is short lived. Any ideas?
