Cant Poop, Stomach Hurts Extremely. Any Solution ?

So I cant poop and my stomach hurts extremely bad. In the past 8 hours I ve thrown up four times. It hurts to the point that I can t stand up straight. The only way it doesn t hurt is if I curl up in a ball. My mom doesn t understand and keeps telling me to stop crying and eat fat foods but I m not listening to her. Help?

Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic

I am sorry that you are unwell

It sounds like you are experiencing bloating. This may be as a result of (1)GERD, (2)intolerance to lactose, (3)as a result of consumption of certain vegetables such as broccoli, cabbage, turnips, brussel sprouts (4) constipation (5) obstruction of the bowel.

Though the vomiting, abdominal pain and problems with passing air may be related to GERD or constipation. It may be best that you are assessed by your doctor to make sure that the symptoms are not as a result of obstruction.

I hope this helps

Hi,
Thanks for posting your query.
With the available described symptoms, there appears to be possibility of acute bacterial gastroenteritis.
Presence of abdominal pain and unable to poop suggests the diagnosis.
You should consult with internalmedicine specialist and should go for thorough check up.
There may also be possibility of fecolith impacion and you should go for x ray abdomen.
You should take complete antibiotic course, antispasmodics, probiotics.
You should avoid milk and all milk related products.
Take care,
Dr. MayankBhargava

General Surgeon Dr. Grzegorz Stanko's  Response
Hello!

Thank you for the query.

Such strong pain can be caused by urinary tract stones or bowels obstruction. If you have the pain radiating to the back or groin, stones are more possible. If your stomach gets bloated, have had constipations before or any blood in stool, obstruction is more possible. It is advisable for you to get help from your doctor. Muscle relaxing medicines should be prescribed. Urine analysis, abdominal ultrasound and abdominal X-ray should be also done.

Hope this will help.
regards.
