Can You Get Pregnant If You Switch Birth Control Pill Lo/ovral?

Can you get pregnant if you switch birth control pills? I was on apri for 7 months and just switched to lo/ovral. The nurse told me it has the same hormones and I started it right after my other pack ended.

There is no reason for one to get pregnant while switching b/w the pills because the mechanism is  suppression of ovulation in any contraceptive pills. Hence that cannot be a cause as such.
