I just had my ECG and it says there sinus rhythm, left atrial abnormality, non-specific ST T wave changes. I also got my chest xray and the result shows apical pleural thickening is seen on the left. Heart is not enlarged. Diaphragm and sinuses are intact. Please elaborate.
Non-specific ST-T wave changes may be a normal variant or it may be due to electrolyte imbalance, pericarditis etc. You need clinical correlation and further investigations like ECHO,TMT etc. Chest X-ray findings are also benign.Left apical pleural thickening may be sequel of past infection. It is a benign finding and it doesn't require any treatment.Rest of the findings like heart, diaphragm etc are normal.
