Can You Drink On Beta Blockers ?

does anyone drink on beta blockers im on it for high blood pressure inderal 80 mg a day i just want an occasional drink

Sorry no more alcohol, caffeine, nicotine. The action of beta blockers is potentiated by alcohol, and can result in hypotension and even death.

I take Beta blockers and I have a glass or two of wine every day. My doc says it is ok. It does make you a little drowsy at first but that goes away. You can google it. They say to drink 2 hours before or 2 hours after dosing.
