Can Xanax Be Taken For Anxiety/nervousness By A High BP Patient With Heart Attack 3yrs Ago And Taking Lisinopril, asprin, Crestor?
I have had heart attack 3 years a go. They placed stent. I'm taking lisinopril for BP, baby aspirin and crestor for cholesterol. I'm having a lots of private problems lately and my BP is stil high (148/82). Sometimes (like tonight) I feel enxiety and nervousness, Is it safe to take Xanax occassionaly, when I feel bad?
Xanax does not interfere with either of the drugs being taken by you. Neither does it affect the heart adversely. On the contrary, by curbing anxiety / nervousness, Xanax lowers the BP.
You can therefore, take Xanax as and when required.
