Can Whey Protein Be Taken While Weight Training By A Growing Child?
hi im nick gomez. im 14, i weight 176, im 5 foot 9 inches. my question is that i do some weight training from time to time. and ive seen these whey protein products. ive been bugging my parents about it and they completely refuse because they think its some kind of those stimulents that say to be the m,agic pills for getting big. i tell them its just protein taken out of milk! so i was wondering if indeed whey protein may alter my growth in any way.
I went through your details. Whey protein is good in many aspects but for weight training, normal protein supplements are enough. Whey protein is way too costly and you don't need it for weight training. Weight training also requires a lot of fibre and calcium which you won't get from any protein. Get these from fibre rich food and milk and eggs.
If you still need my assistance in this regard, please use this link. http://goo.gl/aYW2pR. Please remember to describe the whole problem with full detail.
Hope this answers your query. Please feel free to post follow up queries. Available for further clarifications. Good luck. Take care.
