Can Varicose Vein Cause Pain In The Sole And Heel With Swelling?

I have a bruise on the outer side of my right side of my foot and pain in the sole, nearest the heal and including the side where the bruise is. It s painful to walk on, and while I have iced the area incessantly since first noticing the pain, the area has become swollen and hard to the touch, and I can also see the veins inside the swelling area are noticeably larger. It hurts more like a burning, like I got hit with something, or like there is infection. The color has stayed somewhat consistent with bruising, but I haven t tripped or fallen lately. Could it be a busted blood vessel or a varicose related issue? Any advice would be appreciated and helpful. Thank you so much.

REspected Sir yes varicose vein can cause pain in the heel with swelling but not sole. your issue is related to cellulitis with infection of the local part. In my clinic I would suggest combination therapy of following tablets : 1. Cefixime (200)mg 2. Ranitidine (150)mg 3. Diclofenac-serratiopeptidase all 3 tablets to be taken mor and evening after meals for 5 days . Keep that leg elevated over 2-3 pillows and avoid excess weight bearing dear, I hope this will definately help you to great extent. but as these are prescription drugs you have to get prescribed by your physician dear thanks regards wishing you fast speedy recovery.
