Can Urine Test Show False Positive For Chlamydia?
I went to my local planned parenthood a week ago to get STD checked, they took a urine sample and then i got called yesterday and they said that I had chlamydia. However, i went to an ob-gyn this morning and he believes i do not have the infection. i show no symptoms and he said my cervix looks normal. my one symptom is discharge, but he believed that could be bacterial vaginosis or an issue with my birth control. he is doing a culture on my cells, but he said he wasn t too worried. What are the odds of a false positive on a urine test?
