Hi I have an underactive thyroid and I do shift work I find that after my two nights I spend the next 4 rest days sleeping lethargic and depressed. I don t sleep after nights I get around 3 4 hours is nights detrimental to underactive can I request under medical terms not to work noght shifts due to my underactive

I really appreciate your concern, you have to prove the medical condition that supports the theory and it may not be like that ideally speaking so it may not be possible unless it is being clinically examined and found something supportive hope this information helps.
