Studies showed recently that a "broken heart" is in fact a phenomemom which occurs when a spouse, or possibly a child passes away. I know, my wife passed suddenly in 2005 from a previously undiagnosed heart ailment(she was 44). So, I have done the research on this.
I felt like I was going to die! My heart actually HURT, as if I had been punched or kicked. I went to both my GP and a Cardiologist. They both told me about "broken Heart " sydrome. Look it up, you will be suprised.

Is there such a thing as dying of a broken heart ? well, my grandpa died tuesday, and me and my mom were talking about it yesterday. she told me my step-grandma will most likely die of a broken heart, if anything. i ws jsut wonderin it that was possible? my aunt died a few years ago and my uncle died 2 days later of a broken heart and they never found out why he actually died. soo, i was just wondeirng if it really is possible. another question: today was my grandpa s funeral and it was open casket. every time i close my eyes i see him laying there. i really want to get it out of my head bc i want to remember him at his birthday party a few weeks ago. is there any way to clear my mind of thatt? thanks in advance :]
My husband's heart is beating loudly and seems to be beating irregularly. I took his blood pressure and it was normal. His heart rate was 102bpm. He also has an urge to cough periodically. He's had these episodes happen before and the cough has helped at times. Do we need to be concerned? His father died from heart disease and started having an irregular heart beat when he was 35.
