Hello, Does your shaking symptoms occur on resting state? The diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease is done by clinical examinations. If you do have following symptoms such as distal resting tremor (Parkinson s disease tremors usually start in your hands, and can affect your legs, chin and other parts of your body), rigidity, abnormally slow or sluggish motor activity and responses including gait difficulty, decreased sense of smell, and difficulty turning over in bed or difficulty rising from a chair, then you may want to have a clinic visit with urgent care or primary care doctor s office to have appropriate head to toe neurological exam to assess conditions. Symptoms of Parkinson s disease is also known to have the most common initial finding being an asymmetric resting tremor in an upper extremity, affecting one-sided hand with the other hand as being normal. Patients must also respond to an adequate therapeutic challenge of dopamine agonist such as levodopa to make a definitive diagnosis. Hope I have answered your query.
