Can Tramadol And Zolpidem Eaten Together?

I have been having trouble sleeping because of significant pain in my neck and shoulders. I have been trying to limit the analgesics to NSAID s, per my doctor s recommendations, but following two virtually sleepless nights, I added 25 mg of Tramadol from a previous prescription, then, about 90 minutes later, took a 10 mg Zolpidem tablet that my wife offered me. Is there any potentially dangerous interaction in this mix? I have no other health problems. Stan

Hi & Welcome.
I can understand your concern.
Taken together, it can be harmful.
Taking Zolpidem together with Tramadol may increase side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, confusion, and difficulty concentrating. Some people, especially the elderly, may also experience impairment in thinking, judgment, and motor coordination.
You should avoid activities requiring mental alertness such as driving or operating hazardous machinery until you know how the medications affect you.
Hope this will help you.
