I understand your concern, and would like to explain that stent implantation is safe from any supposed displacement.
In fact, this risk is quite inexistent. You have to relax, regarding this issue.
But, I would like to raise your attention about the necessary care when dealing with your recommended therapy after stent implantation.
It is very important to be meticulous about antiaggregant treatment, as it is crucial for stent stability. You need to follow your doctors advices and performed regular follow ups.
Remember that stents are foreign bodies, and their usefulness depends on how we treat them.
Hope to have been helpful to you. Greetings! Dr. Iliri
