Can The Rectal Exams Be Done With A Gown Or A Sheet?

2. I have just had a 14 biopsy exam.......and all 14 were negative. Good news. I am a male and ask for my male MD to continue my 6 month exams and blood work. Was assiged a female PA-C. I am concerned about her privacy methods. Both times I saw her we talk about the results.....which have been good ........but then she just askes me to pull my pants and underwear down........wihile she watches.....then I have to clean and dress in front of her. This last time I asked for a gown.......and the medical assistant said no. Then in walks the PA-C with another female NP in training and tells me (not asks) that she will watch how we do things here ! I told her this was very embarassing and she just said......"I understand " Is this the proper way for a urology exam to be done ?? I don't want to be overly shy or private........but I have always had the rectal exams done with a gown or sheet . Just wondering what you think and what I might do ? Thanks

A surgeon with super-specialty in urology is the right doctor for hemorrhoid problem. It is not possible to suggest anyone in Minocqua.
Any examination which involves examination of the private parts is done paying full attention to the privacy of the patient.
If you are uncomfortable at any point, you can ask the doctor and other attendants for more privacy.
A gown is provided for the investigation.
It is not normal for a doctor or any other attendant to look at the patient while he/she is undressing or dressing.
