Can The Dizziness Be Caused By Inner Ear?

I have been low dose (10 mg.) for high blood pressure .. I also take 1/2 a water pill and I drink plenty of water .. Lately I have been feeling light headed and some what dizzy .. I m not sure if my inner ear is causing this to happen or if I might be low on pottasium .. What do you think ?

Hi dear ,

As per your query you are having spells of dizziness . The symptoms you mention in query can occur due to various reasons like alteration in blood pressure in vessels near ear , stress and anxiety , inner ear infection and it is also caused by blood pressure lowing medicine . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper diagnosis . Doctor may order certain test liek CT scan , hearing test , blood test , rotatory chair test and positional test . Doctor may prescribe antiemetic drug , sedatives or alter the does or medicine you already taking or prescribe substitute .
