Can The Date Of Conception Be Calculated?

hello doctor wanted to know if its possible to identify when exactly the pregnancy occurred. if not the time may be the date. if yes what kind of test will confirm this. if my period cycles varies between 25 to 28 days and sometimes it s 30 days, if we have tried on 25th day would i still become pregnant?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. You have 25th to 30th day cycle on average. You have to do unprotected sex in fertile phase of the cycle when there is ovulation time. Ovulation happens about two weeks before the next expected period in normal 28 days cycle. So you have to do sex form 10th to 20th day of cycle to increase the chance of pregnancy.

Pregnancy is not possible when sex was done on the 25th day of cycle. Conception occur few hours and 5 days after intercourse. There is not test for conception. You can confirm pregnancy by blood HCG earliest, 10 days after sexual intercourse. Take healthy diet, drink plenty of water and do regular exercise.
