Can Taking Sorbiline And Cremalax For Constipation Lead To Delay In Period?

Hi Doc, I am 25yr old lady. I had constipation problem so, doctor suggested me to take sorbiline syp and cremalax tab. I have normally regular menstrual cycle. But this time it is delayed by 3-4 days. Does this delay in cycle occur because of these tab and syp?

Hi dear i read ur problem of constipation with delayed menstrual cycle by 3-4days.
U taking syp sorbline and tab cremalac also. Firstly u said that u have regular menstrual cycle and later on comes this problem.First in my view u take some precaustion then u have no requirement of medicine.but for ur menstrual cycle some investigation are necessary .u dont explain ur menstrual history so u consult a gynaecologist for this problem.
The precaustion are
1-Take 10-12 glasses of water everyday .
2-Take green vegetable and sprouts specially cucumber in ur diet.
3-U can take all bran, cornflakes,wheat bread, peanuts,pear ,banana,apples etc.
4-U can take one glass of lassi without cream twice in day.
5-U dont take stress and depresssion because it is also imp cause of constipation.
6-U can take one glass milk mixed 20ml of castor oil and consume it only night.
I want to do some investigation for ur problem like-
1-GBP(GENERAL BLOOD PICTURE)
2-USG LOWER ABDOMEN
3-THYROID PROFILE
4-FBC
5-LFT
6-COLONOSCOPY
U also tell that ur constipation drugs not interfear ur menstrual cycle dates. There is no interference of that drug with ur menstrual cycle.u can take with this problem but consult ur gynaecologist for this problem. This is not a big problem correctly simply .thanks for query.
