Can Taking High Dosage Of Epilim Cause Seizures?

Hi, I have been having seizures for about 2 and a half years. They start as zoning out then I chew and rub my fingers together. I had a grand mal earlier this year. I had an mri and eeg which came back as normal. I ve been on epilum and had my dose increased to 800 mg per day. I often see static. Does this have a connection to seizures?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
No, there is no connection between seizure and Epilim. In fact Epilim is used for treatment of seizure. Now you are stable only because of Epilim which is controlling your seizure. Seizure is caused by many causes, and in many seizures, cause is not known.
Advice
1.     Continue Epilim as suggested
2.     Take Epilim after meal
3.     Do not alter dose or stop it unless suggested by your doctor
4.     Try to avoid driving and swimming
I hope this information will help you. I will be happy if you ask another question
