Can Taking Zofran Along With Promethazine Be Safe?
I am a 22 year old female with Crohn s disease and I am going through a flare. The nasuea is the worst.. I was taking zofran 8mg and it wasnt helping well I also got a prescription for promethazine 25mg (I ve received both in the hospital no problem with either) I took a zofran about a hour ago and took a promethazine about 20 minutes ago and then read online you should NOT mix the two... What should I do? After reading that my heart is beating like crazy but I also do suffer from anxiety and I m pretty sure that s all it is. Please help. I m freaking out.
* You can consume tablet zofran ( ondancetron ) and promethazine with a time interval of an hour or so without any ill effects. Just take deep breaths, drink more liquids in session and bed rest for an hour to settle the pulse of anxiety back to normal.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
