Can Taking Sprycel Be The Cause Of Rise In Liver Count?
My son has cml, diagnosed a year ago. He is on Sprycel, 100mg, at the present time. His blood work today showed an elevation in liver count. He knows and we all know that any medication does damage to your liver. I am a bit upset about this news .What can this mean?

I really appreciate your concern, "Sprycel" could cause liver toxicity but this comes to normal very soon without any medication, moreover ""Dasanitib" (Sprycel) is the drug of choice in CML, because of the toxicity this can not be omitted, here the treating the disease is more important than worrying about side effects, hope this information helps, take care, have a nice day.
