Can Taking Noriday Cause Weight Gain?

i ve been on noriday for 6 months and have noticed that ive gained weight all over and am only a size 10. The nurse suggested i change mr microgynon pill due to my age which i ve been on since i was 16. i ve been eating a lot less over the last 3 months so can only put the weight gain down to the noriday. it s upsetting me now as a couple of members of staff have thought i was pregnant. i m 36 and have had 2 kids already and am not planning anymore. I ve made an appointment to see the nurse which is not until the 11th August so wanted to ask your advice in the meantime.

Hi,

Norway and also combined contraception pills have a side effect of putting on weigh. You should keep an eye on your diet, lowering calories intake, lower complex carbohydrates and fats.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
