Can Taking Cephalexin Be Safe To Treat Skin Infection?
Hi Yes thank you I have a staph skin infection and have been taking cephalexin 500mg x2 twice a day, I have started the medication on Friday 2nd Oct. My question is how long before they start to work and will the infection get worse before it gets better.

I really appreciate your concern, if this is the infection and you have given antibiotic then it need to be taken minimum 7 days and maximum 10 days or more depends upon the severity of infection, if it is not being given then it could be worsen the clinical condition and it is depends upon the organism some time it could be serious one hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
