Can Sutures From Breast Reduction Surgery Causes Bleeding And Oozing?
I recently had a bilateral inferior pedicle breast reduction on 8/27/12. since then, I contracted a serious staph infection as the wound kept spitting out the dissolvable sutures. I was released from the hospital and the wound seems to be healing but I am still having problems with the sutures still coming out. Again, I am having bleeding and oozing from the same location fo the breast that keeps pushing out the sutures. Is this normal? Especially since this is now 3 months post op?

Yes. I think that secondary infection can cause mild oozing or bleeding from the site of sutures of breast reduction surgery. I would advise you apply topical antibiotics ointment for 10 days.
