Right now he is not having high blood pressure so don't worry. He is having a high pulse rate which may be due to fever or anaemia or hyperthyroidism or hypovolemia etc. Please consult your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.

I had gall bladder and hernia surgery on Monday. I feel okay except I have a throbbing headache. My blood pressure is measuring 100/59. Normally I take metroprol for high blood pressure. Is there cause for concern? I have been on Percocet since the surgery but only had one pill today. Trying to stop taking them ans switch to regular Tylenol .

I have been struggling with being dizzy, lightheaded and blacking out. My blood pressure around from 61/91 all the way up to 128/86 during these episodes of dizziness. Dr says my BP has been trending lower than normal lately. I had gastric bypass surgery in July of this year but dont think this is directly related to this issue. I had a bit of positioning vertigo in april before my surgery and then started with the full fledged dizziness issue in August and ended up going on leave from work by the end of Sept. Do you have any ideas on what could be my problem? I feel weak, dizzy and generally sick all the time.

I ve been on blood pressure meds for a while due to lack of exercise during surgery. I have now been exercising again for 4 weeks & this past week my blood pressure has dropped (from 140 s/80 s to low 100 s/60 s) and my pulse rate has risen (from 60+ beats per minute to 90+ beats per minute). Also, I m experiencing shallow breathing. My doctor has had me stop blood pressure meds, but I haven t noticed a change. I had a heart ablation for Afib a couple of years ago 7 am wondering if it may have returned or if I m experiencing a different problem.
