Can stress or separation from your spouse cause/mimic a heart condition ?

can stress or separation from your spouse cause/mimic a heart condition? Just curious.. I m trying to look at all the options that are before me. Apparently I am borderline positive to have ischaemia, but I am wondering if stress, or separation from a spouse (he has been on deployment for four months) could lead to your body mimicing other illnesses, even heart conditions. Thankyou for your answers.

I have a heart rhythm irregularity in that my heart skips beats, especially when I m under stress (I had another episode, much worse) about 9-10 yrs. ago and started on Atenolol which seemed to help dramatically until recently). Both times I have been under extreme duress. My doctor knows about this condition but didn t seem concerned about it. I would like your opinion, please.

Can stress and anxiety cause an irregular or rapid heart beat? I ve been through every test there is since I had a really scary tachycardia and every doctor I have seen says that my heart is fine and something else is causing the rapid and irregular beats. My condition has not improved and you can trust me that they have checked everything. I don t think it is possible that I am causing this symptom, but could my subconscious or my nervous system be causing this? I ve been reading up on it and it would explain why my doctors can t find the source but yet acknowledge the problem. if more details will help then read my previous questions I have asked. Thanks.

Hi, My wife had a dermoyd cyst removed a few year ago and with it her left ovary. Every since then, she has had a really hard time during her period. Lately, she has experienced a rapid heart rate. She is 23 years old and 105lbs. Generally healthy but she is a smoker. She rarely drinks alcohol and doesn't do any drugs. Her water intake is good as is her diet. She doesn't feel any stress, although, our life is rather stressful. She is anemic and has low blood pressure and her heart rate averages around 100bpm during her period. Is this something we should worry about?

I have had a thudding heartbeat for two days, off and on, mostly on. Also accompanied by shortness of breath. The heartbeat isn't fast or irregular, but I can feel it, like it's heavy in my chest. I've had this before a few years ago, and my doctor thought it was anxiety and wanted to out me on an anti anxiety drug, but I felt like it was a physical issue instead of anxiety. I have low stress, not usually anxious, work out a few times a week, non smoker (for 5 years) recently lost about 35 lbs (1-1/2 years ago) Could this be allergies?
