Can Stopping Pills Four Days After Sex Cause Pregnancy?
I have been on Lo loestrin Fe for two months. I've been taking the pill everday. Four days ago I had sex while still on the pill. Its been four days since I last had sex and I have been taking my pill. I decided to stop taking it today on day four because of personal reasons could I still get pregnant from sex from four days ago now that Im not on the pill.
You need not worry about pregnancy as you were well protected throughout. Please note that the ovum has an active life of 24 hours which means that it can be fertilized only within that period. In the current scenario, you are unlikely to be ovulating as you are on the pill. So, there is absolutely no reason for worry. Please remember that you can expect a period a couple of days after discontinuing the pill.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
