Can Stomach Upset Cause Lower Back And Abdominal Pain?
my daughter had a bad stomach virus 3 weeks ago, went to hospital put on fluids due to dehydration. a few days later. about a week after he period she started spotting with dark blood then lower back pain which comes around to her lower stomach. could this be from the stomach virus?

Spotting with dark blood is indicative for possible hemorrhoids that might have been caused when she was having bad stomach virus.
I advise to observe carefully and notice if the spotting was from her anus or vagina.
I also advise to get a colonoscopy to her and get her feces checked for ova/parasites and cultured for pathogenic bacteria/viruses.
