Can Stomach Trauma Cause Internal Bleeding?
My son was skateboarding, went up a mini ramp and when he came down ran into a steel pole in his stomach. He was winded and could not breathe and then he threw up and no the color in his lips have gone. Should I take him to the Er to check for internal bleeding? He is 7 years old

Internal bleeding will be associated with features like abdominal pain,blood stained vomitous, dark colored stools after some time etc.
If he is not having such features,significant internal injury is unlikely.
The lip color is probably a bruise and will fade gradually by 5-7days.
Anyhow, if you are not sure,it will be fine if you could get examined him by your doctor.
