Can Stem Cells Cure AML-M2?

hello doctor,my sister aged 17 was undergone treatment for AML-M2 with 98% blasts...she was given chemotheraphy and undergone bone marrow transplantation 6 months ago. today her report was with 93% blast again. now the doctor said to take the stem cells from me and transplant it to her again...after that is it curable??? or now better to go for ayurveda???please suggest me...its urgent sir...

Hello! First the postive bit: if the patient is fit enough to tolerate the procedure stem cell transplant may lead to good long term survival (though more studies are needed for conclusive proof) ; the negative: stem cell transplant is a complex,risky
procedure which may lead to serious complications (including loss of life). Therefore any decision in this regard should be taken very carefully. All the best!
