Can Stem Cell Therapy Cure Knee Pain Post Replacement?

I ve already had my right knee replaced, am doing well now for that knee, but it took so long to recuperate. My left knee is really giving me much pain (bone on bone on inside of knee, but outside of knee looks good). I truly dread having another knee replacement! Can Stem Cell Therapy work for me, so I don t have to have a knee replacement. If Stem Cell Therapy works for me, will my knee be normal again, so I won t have to have surgery. Thank you, Margaret C. (I live in Charlotte, N. C.)

Hello,

Stem cell therapy can help in repairing the damaged cartilage and can delay the need of knee replacement. It will not help after the knee replacement is done.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Praveen Tayal, Orthopaedic Surgeon
