Hi.... Diabetes can some time be asymptomatic, meaning it can be found only on blood test... There are a few symptoms which you can look for. Symptoms like excessive thirst, going for the washroom for the loo(urination) several times, not gaining weight inspite of increased food intake or losing weight without any cause, delay in wound healing, dizziness, blurring of vision... If you find any of these symptoms or if you have a strong family history of diabetes then get you blood test done... or get your blood checks done regularly to look for diabetes..

My legs and feet will randomly turn bright red and tingle and itch. Is this a sign of diabetes? I have almost all the symptoms. Non stop thirst, always sleepy, urinating all the time, hungry a lot even though I just ate, and like I said itchy red legs and feet. I ve been tested one but it said I didn t have it. Should I get tested again? Please get back to me.
Hello, My name is Kevin. Lately I have wondered of I should be tested for Diabetes. I have shown symptoms of it such as my feet with extreme dryness but that could be just from athletes foot who knows. I constantly pee, I m always hungry and crave sweets. My toe nails grow with this weird indention that looks like someone hit my toe or something. Plus not to mention I m Mexican and everyone on my fathers side of the family suffers from diabetes. So I was just wondering what I should do. I bought a glucose reading device but still haven t tested myself yet. Would it still be possible for me to be a pre-diabetic even though I m physically active? I mean I am only 21yrs old and weigh 185lbs with a height of 6 1

Hello, I had 2 small patches of dry skin, one on each palm, which gradually grew to encompass most of the area of the palm. Whilst the skin on forms a white border which is slightly peeling in apprearnce, the skin in the centre of the palm has grown in quite tight and ever so slightly leathery. I was thinking this could possibly be a form of eczema, but your judgement would be greatly appteciated. Thank-you very much for your help.
I am having trouble with my feet and hands. extremely dry skin - eczema-like on my hand, and skin is cracking leaving deep knife-like splits in heels, ball of foot, and fingers. My entire right foot is swollen and it is extremely painful to put any weight on it at all. I am afraid the foot is infected. Should I go to emergency clinic? My efforts with Neosporin & wrapping are not working & this has been ongoing for about 2 weeks now.
