hi i had a medical check up for immigration there i found that my bilirubin contents are much more, i have the habit of smoking does this affect me right now i am healthy because my medicals reports are sent to new zealand doctors for further checking,is there any problem with this high content right now i had stopped smoking
no, that is just not likely directly due to cigarettes or everyone would be yellow. various other causes include a genetic predisposition to elevated bilirubin of very little significance and.. any chemical including smoking might trigger it. And tumors/cancer can go to the liver .. this would be bad. Simple blood tests can show the minor disorder. More complicated imaging tests are needed for more serious liver diseases.
