Can Skin Lupus Cause Joint Pain, Bladder Infection And Persistent Allergy?

I ve been diagnosed with skin lupus and I have photosensitivity, but I ve had other things going on with me and I want to know if they re linked or can I have systemic lupus. I ve had recurrent yeast infections (4 in one year) and I have developed allergies to Diflucan and Monistat, so I have a prescription for Lamisil tablets. Also, when I wake up every morning, my hands and feet are stiff and painful for about an hour, then I m fine. Also, I have between 13 and 20 migraines a month. Also, I have very painful joints in my right thumb and forefinger, but they re not swollen. I ve also had two severe bladder infections (hemmoraghic cystitis). Can all of these be related to each other. I see 3 different doctors for all these things.

hi. I have read your question and understand your concern.

skin lupus can be a part of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). your joint involvement is highly suggestive of systemic lupus. to make a final diagnosis I suggest you get the following tests done:
1. RA factor
2. ANA

your bladder infection and migraine may or may not be related.

I suggest you see a rheumatologist and get yourself examined.

hope this was helpful. for any further questions please get back to us. thanks.
