Can Sickle Cell Trait Cause Headache, Upset Stomach And Weakness?

Hi I m 21 black male I was diagnosed with sickle cell trait ,for some time now I have been having headaches pretty much every day , back pain pretty much every day, upset stomach ,very weak , some times exhausted, confusion , could I be having problems due till sickle cell trait I need a doctor in dothan al that could help me that takes medicaid.please help tired of being sick every day

Hello there,
Sickle cell anemia makes your red blood cells fragile and easy to rupture. They then tend to accumulate in blood vessels and obstruct blood flow leading to bone pain. The treatments for sickle cell anemia that reduce bone pain include hydroxyurea and blood transfusion therapy. you need to discuss with your doctor and he would choose the appropriate therapy. At the very least it would help you improve your quality of life.
