Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
It appears to be the allergic reaction to some thing at the work place. If it is shingles, it must not be repeated immediately after returning to the work. Still the treatment for shingles may be continued for a length of time.
I advise you to consult a dermatologist for diagnosis and treatment.
If it is allergic i usually advise to my patient with such symptoms levocitrizine, montelekast, paracetamol and cifixime. If it is confirmed as shingles, acyclovir in addition.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
