Can Scrotal Suspensory Support Be Worn For Long Time?

Hello, I am just finishing a course of antibiotic therapy for a case of epididymis. As part of the therapy, the urologist suggested a scrotal suspensory support. My question: can I continue to wear the suspensory 24/7 without any concerns, as I feel very loose scrotally now that I am without it? I am not concerned at the age of 63 about sperm motility, but want to make sure I do not compromise any lymphatic circulatory flow. Thanks!

Hi,Dear,Thanks for your query to HCM.
Dear I read your query and reviewed it with context to your query facts.
I understood your health concerns and feel Concerned about them.

Based on the facts of your query, you seem to suffer from-
Epididymitis.
At your age of 63, you need to be worried for complications of Prostatitis if any.I would suggest you to complete the full course of antibiotics and not just a casual course of antibiotics, in case you continue to have testicular pain from epididymitis ,even after course of this current antibiotics.
A scruplous follow up check ups with Urologist would be needed in your case,as its unusual to have fresh epididymitis at this age.In that case you might have suffered from old STD which would accompany with complications with it - as of Chronic Prostatitis.
In this background of care suggested, question of Suspensory support for your epididymitis, needs to be taken up with your attending Urologist.
CT prostate and USG Bladder with contrast studies if needed would be needed to assess your case.
Hope this would help you to solve your health issues in the best way possible.
Welcome for any further query in this regard.

Good Day!!
