Can Sciatic Pain Be Caused By High Blood Pressure Medication?.

Can sciatic pain be caused by high blood pressure medication? I am a 54 years old female. I took Analapril for 10 years and recently my family dr switched to Coversil Plus. I had short sciatic pain episodes before, but now I have been having it for 8 weeks. Also having spikes of blood pressure, since the sciatic pain problem.

Physical Therapist or Physiotherapist 's  Response
No BP medication does not cause sciatic pain , but sciatic pain can spike your blood pressure
I recommend an MRI to check your back for disc or spondylitis
Physical therapy can be of much help

Good Luck
