Increased saliva production could be due to a lot of reasons but most frequently water brash is the cause. This occurs because you probably have gastritis. You need to reduce spicy food. Take bland warm food. Drink more milk. Get an endoscopy done if you have abdominal pain as well. You may take Omeprazole a good PPI to reduce acid in the stomach as directed by your Physician.
