Can Root Canal Procedure Cause Seizure?

up until a week ago i was in perfect health but i ended up in the hospital after having 2 seizures that so far they have found no cause for. I don't drink or smoke and the only minor medical problem i have is i need a root canal. Is it possible that could be the cause of the seizure?

I read your query and I understand your concern.
Regarding your question the answer is no, root canal issue doesn't cause any seizure by itself.
In theory there could exist the case of sepsis or of an abscess communicating through venous network and giving cerebral venous sinus thrombosis with seizures, but that would be a very serious condition, with many other symptoms and since you have been in a hospital and must have had brain imaging it would have been seen there.
Otherwise as I said the root canal itself doesn't affect the brain and doesn't cause seizures.
I hope to have been of help.
