Can Pregnancy Remain Undetectable If HCG Level Is Low?

I have been on birth control for a few years and always miss a few pills. Last wensday I started spotting, very light didn't need a pad or tampon. It was browning in color. I was suppose to start my period Wensday or Thursday, a week after the spotting. I've had cramps and lower back pain. Took a few tests and they were negative. My last test was yesterday afternoon. Could I be pregnant and my hcg level not be high enough to detect. I've never spotted before and am like clock work when it comes to my period.

hello mam .... blood hcg test is more sensitive than urine hcg and can be detectable earlier ... so we will confirm that test with usg for gestational sac detection and heart beat... but here we have some issue like spotting before your menstruation , sometimes it will happen as you are using contraceptive pills irregular...
if you still having some question wait for one wk for menstruation to happen fully if nothing happened again we have to check for hcg which may show some result ( either + or -) and after that usg can confirm your pregnancy. its not possible to become pregnant with negative hcg result..
