Can Pravastatin Or Spirulina Cause Lightheadedness?

My husband lowered his pravastatin dose from 80 to 40 mg. Would he feel any physical effects? He's been light headed and has the feeling of being 'loopy' this week. Wondering if it's related. I've also given him a smoothy with Spirulina... and put him on 400 mg of Coq10. Any of those things possibly causing the lightheaded loopy feeling?
Thank you!

Hi welcome to health care magic forum.
It appears that he has some side effect with the pravastatin 80, so the dose is reduced to 40. the side effect might be the gastric irritation, He is using spirulina, and coq10, so the gastric irritation would have increased.
I advise you to have a check up, with his doctor for treating the light headed ness.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms ranitidine to combat the gastric irritation and have a trial. If it is relieved, he can be done with it.
Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and protein rich foods to compensate the ill health.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery.Thank you.
