After one month i have been advised to go for a biopsy if there is no relief. Is there any cure in Ayurveda medicine for this problem or is there any center in India whereby i can come for treatment.

1. polymyositis is a connective tissue diseases characterised by inflammation of muscles and have an autoimmune basis, and going by your symptoms it looks to be proximal myopathy [difficulty in walking/climbing] and since distal muscles are spared thus fine movement of hands are affected late in the course.

2.
. Active/Passive Exercise to maintain muscular strength [physiotherapist and occupational therapist].
. speech and language therapist may help with difficulties of swallowing.
. Monitor creatine kinase and clinical response.

3. In Ayurveda we usually treat the disease on the basis of 'Mansmedogat Vaat' [Myopathy/Myalgia], you may consult an Ayurveda physician regarding use of Lauha Bhasma, Chandraprabha Vati, Navak guggulu, Panchskar Churan, trifla kwath.
