Can Penidure Be Responsible For Sliding Hiatus Hernia?

I am taking penicillin from 2001.in childhood I have a problem of mitral valve package. so doctors give me penidure LA 12 .in childhood i was very thin . but in 2008 I become very healthy.but I have a digestive problems start.recently I was surjery for sliding hiatus hernia.my query, is penidure or pencom La12 is responsible for sliding hiatus hernia?

Injection Penidure is unlikely to be responsible for sliding hiatus hernia.

Injection Penidure LA 12 Lacs (Benzathine Penicillin) is a long acting penicillin used in the prophylaxis of bacterial endocarditis in patients suffering from valvular heart disease including mitral valve prolapse and other conditions.

It is not responsible for the development of sliding hiatus hernia.

Sliding type of hiatus hernia occurs when your stomach and esophagus slide into and out of your chest through hiatus (opening in diaphragm). It exact isn’t known. In some people, injury or other damage may weaken muscle tissue. This makes it possible for your stomach to push through your diaphragm.diaphragm.

Usually it tends to be small and does not cause any symptoms. It may not require treatment. However if you get symptoms like heart burn, indigestion, nausea consult your treating doctor for appropriate treatment like use of proton pump inhibitors or H2 receptor blockers.
